Robert Leon Archer

Robert was born in Tupelo, Okla. to Claud and Lillian Archer (Groves) on June 16, 1943. He was a proud citizen of the Chickasaw Nation. He graduated from Ponca City Senior High School in 1961, where he gained his love of sports by being a team member in football, baseball and wrestling. He attended the University of Michigan where he continued wrestling. He spent most of his career as a golf professional, mainly in the DFW area. He was a member of the PGA and enjoyed teaching golf to many.

Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife Linda Archer, his parents Claud and Lillian and his brother, Oscar.

Robert is survived by his three sons and their wives, Randy and Lorain, Jeffery and Carol, Rocky and Allison Archer, and two brothers and their wives, Fred and Judy, and Russell and Lynn Archer, as well as his granddaughters, Melissa and Amber Archer, and three great-grandchildren.
