Sue Keith Amstutz was born near Hinton, Oklahoma on May 4th, 1921, later moving to Geary, Oklahoma. She attended school there and was a graduate of Geary Highschool in 1938. She later moved to Oklahoma City when she married her husband Wayne Dale Amstutz, a former classmate, in September 1949. They resided in Omaha, Nebraska several years, then Pratt, Kansas; St. Jo, Missouri; Pampa, Texas; and transferred to Hereford, Texas in 1974. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was employed at Anthony’s, retiring in 1984. Survivors included daughter-in-law Yow-Yi Amstutz and two grandsons, Nathan and Mitchell Amstutz, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Texas Elizabeth and William Robert Keith, sisters Allita Smith, Cleo Hiersche, Golda Gagliardi, and Edie Kruta, her husband Wayne Amstutz and her only son, Wally Amstutz both in the year 2004. A visitation will be held Monday, May 14th, from 9am to 8pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in Sue’s memory at Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday, May 15th, at 11:00am.
