Thomas Ward Goodwin Jr.

Thomas Ward Goodwin, Jr., 72, of Arcadia Oklahoma, passed away October 23, 2024. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 13, 1952. Tom attended the New Mexico Military Institute and graduated from John Marshall high school. He was married to Jamie Lynne Goodwin on July 29, 1972.

Tom worked in oil & gas and property management. He had a passion for his family, the outdoors, going to the lake, and riding his motorcycles.

He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas Ward Goodwin and Cecilia Hiawana Woolley Goodwin. He was survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jamie Lynne Goodwin, his sons, Thomas Ward Goodwin, III and wife, Candace Elaine Goodwin, Colin James Goodwin and wife, Megan Elizabeth Goodwin, his grandchildren, Weston James Goodwin, Grady Ward Goodwin, Rilynne Elaine Goodwin, Ainsley James Goodwin, his brother, Brad Goodwin, and his sister Laura Bea Mach as well as many, many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Tom loved spending time with his wife, dancing and listening to music in their boat at Arcadia Lake. They also rode many miles around town and across the country on the motorcycles. He enjoyed taking care of their property, and was always proud of the effort that he put into it and the work ethic he was able to instill in his sons through it’s stewardship.

Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 11, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
