He was born in Danville, AR on Sept. 2, 1949 to Tommy and La Vada Thomas. Roger married his high school sweetheart, Robbie, on September 27, 1968 in Amarillo, TX. He moved his family to Luther, OK from Amarillo, TX in 1978. Roger was a dedicated family man who loved to travel, ride motorcylces, and spend time with his family and friends. He was an active member of the Teamsters Union where he advocated for member’s rights even after retiring.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and La Vada, and his brothers Charles and Allen.
Roger is survived by his wife, Robbie, of the home; Son, Jerald, of Edmond; Daughters, Kimberly of Edmond, and Jennifer, of Luther; 8 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation will be held for Roger on Sunday, October 17th from 12-4pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Monday, October 18th at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
