

William H. Bullard AKA “Wild Bill” was born 1-4-1942 and passed from this life to the next on 1-3-2015. He was born in Pittsburg, PA, was raised in Joplin, MO, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master’s degree in architecture.
After four months of dating, Bill married the love of his life on 5-29-1970. Together they had two sons and raised their family in OKC, Virginia, and then returned to OKC in the 1990’s.
Bill worked as a successful architect in running his own firm and finished his career at Miles & Associates. He was an avid sailor and enjoyed spending time at Lake Hefner and Grand Lake with his family. He loved music and music festivals. He was a fan of green beer on St. Patty’s Day, riding his bike around the lake, and relaxing in his hot tub. Bill was a handy man who could fix anything. He never met a stranger who didn’t become his friend by the end of the conversation.
Bill was a gentle spirit. He was a loving, dedicated husband and father who will be greatly missed.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia Lee Bullard and his brother, Bruce.
Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sue; his two sons, Dray and wife, Kirsten, and Tyson and wife, Missy; two granddaughters, Parker Grace and Hattie Claire; sister-in-law, Pat and husband, Jim; nephew, Grant; two nieces, and life-long friend Charles Keeter.
Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 12pm-8pm, Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Funeral Services for Bill will be held at 3:30pm, Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Grace Bible Church (10301 Lakeside Drive, OKC).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research.
