Alfredo Rolon was born in 1938, in Comerio, Puerto Rico. He joined the U.S. Army, and became a paratrooper. When his family needed him, he left the military early without hesitation. Family always came first.
He married Enelia Rolon, and they raised five children. He built a career in construction across Puerto Rico. He funded and built a Catholic church largely with his own hands.
Our family moved to Florida and carried us through difficult economic times with determination and pride. He worked until just a few years ago because providing for his family wasn’t just something he did, it was who he was.
He wasn’t perfect. None of us are. But he gave everything he had to ensure his family and those he cared for felt his love, his protection, and his support. His life was a testament to resilience, integrity, and quiet leadership.
Alfredo Rolón is survived by his 5 children, daughters in-law, 9 grandchildren, their spouses, 13 great grandchildren, and countless friends.
