I remember Brian as having a smile that brightened a room. He was joyous, caring and giving. He loved his family and loved life. 

I just found out that Brian passed away. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I remember him sending me pictures of his house in Florida and how it was way to close to the river. I asked him if he wasnt afraid of alligators. He said not yet. You were such a sweet young man. I was so hard to believe Mary and Ed are gone. And you as well    prayers for your family. 

I just heard last evening of Brian's passing.  I was his high school counselor and knew Brian during the high school years.  He always had a positive attitude and positive outlook on life.  He was open-minded, had a big heart and was a joy to talk to all four years.  Brian loved his family and cared about others. He was one of the best students I had over my 30+ years.  I never forgot Brian and always wished him well.  He was a fabulous guy and looking at the tribute, I can see how much he impacted the world around him.  I am honoured to say I knew him.

Brian is one of the most awesome people I've ever known.  I was so happy to run into him and catch up just a couple of weeks ago and shocked to get the news today.  I will greatly miss his infectious energy and razor-sharp wit.

There are those times in a persons life that come as a total shocker and when I heard the news about you moving on this was one of those times!  Waves of emotion ripple through memories that I have of us working together to complete a task, a goal or a challenge and I will hold them all in a special place in my heart. 

We were always full throttle for two weeks during Festival and drew strength from each other to get the job done. You were “that guy” who could be asked to do something and it would get done.  And no matter how you tired or exhausted you felt you always had a smile, laugh or hug for those around you. 

So although you have left this life way to soon, rest assured that you will always be remembered.  So until then, I raise  my glass to you and say...Dilly Dilly my brother, Dilly Dilly.

First met Brian on the job about 12 years ago. He was a guy that liked you and considered you a friend the first time you crossed paths. The next time you met you realized you genuinely liked him and wanted to be his friend. One of a kind, I will miss you, colleague, neighbor, friend.

Our deepest condolences on Brian’s early departure.  We didn’t know him for a very long time, but it was long enough to know an awesome man and neighbor.  We will always remember him fishing at the lake alone or with Hannah.  Our little one was always looking to see if Brian was fishing to see if he got a fish.  Brian you will be missed tremendously.  Katti and Hannah, we are here for you.  Comfort and peace be with you and the family.

To The Family of Brian, Our most heartfelt condolences on the loss of such a wonderful husband, father and son. Those of us here at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Keyport, WA who had the pleasure of working with Brian are deeply saddened by his loss. What can I say??? I would fill this place....Brian is (not was) a friend that will live in our hearts cause we always looked up to him and his positive approach to any situation, to help others, to use his talents, to serve, with a fun attitude that brought any difficult task  in a “piece of cake” thing. I remember him telling me: “I work as a horse but when is time to Mardi Gras Ball, or Festival” ....I PARTY while I work and I love it!”
     He was sooooo funny and a good example of a great husband and father for his family.
    Katti and Hannah: we are here for you, in good and bad times! And we will be Brian’s legacy in taking care of you cause he taught us to take care of who ever needed help. You will meet him again I’m sure, he just went ahead early but remember we are here in this life temporarily.

Brian Wermers you will be missed by myself as well as your MUHS brethren. Just a few months ago you reached out to check on me being the person you were.  You will be deeply missed my friend. 

So sad to hear of Brian's passing.  He was a terrific engineer and a great guy.  He always had an upbeat personality during the times we worked together at LM several years ago.  I always enjoyed running into him and chatting in the hallways.  Will surely be missed.  My thoughts and prayers to the family.

You can't quite put Bubba into words that will ever do him justice.  When I was little he loved to drive me insane.   As I grew up, he loved to give me unsolicited advice (you don't need to actually do laundry - just spray some febreeze, if you ever drink too much beer eat pizza).   As we aged we became friends. There was no such thing as too busy or too long of a drive - he always found a way to see us.   We would go to dinner and he would stop by and help out with anything he could (once fixing a dryer in a full suit after Olivia filled his pockets with Mac N Cheese).   He was always up for an adventure (even an unannounced dog wedding hosted by his nieces and their pal)s. He was steadfast - he called - he showed up - he cared.  He would give you the shirt (or shorts) off his back if you needed them.   He was the smile in the room and the life of the party.  He welcomed everyone.  He was king of the terrible joke (how much does a pound cake weigh - wait for it - a pound.  We will honor his memory and take care of you always Katti and Hannah. 

"Dean" Wermers, You were a great teammate & MUHS classmate.  Your positive attitude and friendship made many lives better--and won't be forgotten.

It is amazing the impact the High School years can have on a young man (or woman). Looking back I am still fond of those years. "Dean" Wermers!,  you are in those memories. 



Katti,  we are so sad to hear about Brian’s unexpected passing.  He was such a character with a warm heart and had an incredibly awesome distinct laugh.  He will never be forgotten. Our hearts are broken.  May God give you and Hannah strength to get through this difficult time in your life.  Continue to remember the good times.  Heaven just received a beautiful soul.  We are mourning with you.  One day we will see Brian again.  We will continue to pray for you and Hannah every day.  We are so grateful and blessed to have met Brian.  Love you both lots. Great engineer, teacher and co-worker.  I always enjoyed my time with Brian.  He will be missed by his Lockheed Martin family.  May God bless his family during this time of sadness.

Always happy, cheerful, smiling. Great sense of humor. I am grateful I got to know Brian.  After I hadn't seen him for long periods of time, and run into each other in the hall, we'd pick up right where we left off laughing and joking. A man who never met a stranger. He made everybody's day better. I am very sad. God bless his family and his soul.

I will never forget that phone call I received from Brian asking if he could be in charge of the festival T shirts.  From that point on he became my friend, my family, my festival rock and someone who I could count on for almost anything. Brian will always have a special place in my heart, you will be missed.
