

Elizabeth "Ellie" Lovera was tragically taken from us in the early hours of February 11th. On her way home from work, she stopped to help an accident victim and was suddenly struck by another car. This selfless act of service epitomized Ellie who was always willing to help anyone in need.
Ellie was born on May 6, 1989, in St. Petersburg, Florida to Elizabeth and Pedro Lovera. They soon moved to Caracas, Venezuela where she grew up through her high school years. Ellie and her sister Adriana moved back to the US to live with their aunt Susana and later they reunited with their parents. After the unexpected passing of her father, Pedro, Ellie, her mother, and sister decided to stay in the US. She loved her job at Universal Studios while was taking classes at Valencia College. Ellie was in the final stages of finishing up her studies at UCF where she was to obtain her degree in Computer Engineering this summer.
Ellie had a passion for all things outdoors. She loved traveling, hiking, taking road trips, and always trying new experiences with her sister and friends. As an animal lover, she spoiled her three Bernese Mountain Dogs with trips to parks and always cuddled at night with her sweet Siamese cat. She was an avid video game player of Zelda and a devoted member of the BTS ARMY.
Ellie is survived by her mother Elizabeth Kendall, sister Adriana Lovera, stepfather Christopher Kendall, grandparents Isabel Lovera and, Carlos van den Bussche, uncles and aunts Carlos van den Bussche, Eduardo van den Bussche, Jorge van den Bussche, Humberto van den Bussche, Marianela van Bussche, Susana Lovera, Mauricio Lovera, Alfredo Lovera and, Irene Lovera and numerous cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817 on Friday, February 18, at 6 PM.
