Eric Michael Quinones

We are so sad to announce the passing of our beloved son, father & brother Eric Michael Quinones that was 50 yrs old. Eric went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on December 5th, 2021 at 3 pm at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Florida, with his family members present. He was the boyfriend of Gloria Morales. They shared 1 year together.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey on a very cold morning at the Margaret Hague Maternity Hospital. He was the son of Awilda E. Quinones & Edwin M. Quinones. Eric attended Nicolas Copernicus School from k-8th Grade & William L. Dickinson High School 9-12th grade. He was employed at Jones Homes USA as a Customer Service Rep & Allied Universal Securities as a Security Officer.

Eric was attending The World Through Him Church and Eric’s Faith was in Jesus Christ. Eric enjoyed technology. He was very talented with computers and all types of electronics. Eric was also a handyman & loved to repair things around the house or anything he found on the side of the road. He loved helping others too. Growing up, Eric had a few characters he’d admired. Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Superman, Ironman, and Yip Man (Bruce Lee’s Teacher). His favorite tv shows were Old Kung Fu flicks, Knight Rider, Power, MacGyver, AirWolf, and so much more. His favorite Movies were Faith Like Potatoes, The Last Dragon, Superman 1, 2, 3 & 4, Short Circuit, Incredible Hulk and so much more. Eric loved music but one genre he loved besides Christian music was Freestyle music. TKA, Coro, Stevie B, Judy Torres, George LaMond, and Lisette Melendez. If you know Eric, you knew what music followed when Eric came around. His favorite car is the Ford Mustang and Eric loved to joke around and be the clown to help make you laugh. Eric’s laugh was distinctive and contagious. He would make these corny jokes at times where only he was laughing but you’d eventually laugh too. Eric will be greatly missed.

Eric will live in our hearts and memories forever. He was taken from us too soon but will never be forgotten. Eric will live on through his son, Michael Lee Quinones. Eric is in paradise with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Eric is Survived by His Son, Michael Lee Quinones. His Parents, Awilda E Quinones & Edwin M Quinones. His Siblings Sister Abigail Quinones & Brother Julio H Quinones Sr. His Niece Annette Zaida Quinones, Nephew, Julio H Quinones Jr. Grandfather, Santos L Rivera, and many more Aunts, Uncles Cousins, and friends.
