

Harold Rasmussen, 87 of Orlando, Florida was born February 1st, 1937, in El Campo, Texas to Hans Raymond and Ena Lucille Rasmussen. He passed away Sunday March 24, 2024 while in a skilled nursing facility in Daytona, Florida.
Ray retired after serving 30 years in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. He was a member of Pine Castle Masonic Lodge #368 in Orlando, Florida for 44 years. Ray was also an owner/operator semi-truck driver after retiring from the Air Force. He loved watching Nascar races on TV as well as attending occasional races with his wife Betty. He loved collecting Steins and Nascar memorabilia. Ray also loved spending time with his pets.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara.
He is survived by his wife Betty Willaims Rasmussen of Orlando, Florida; his daughter Linda Rasmussen and stepdaughters Barbara Dunagan, Dyan Rhea-Hooks, and Tia Overstreet. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren as well his siblings Kenneth Rasmussen and Phyllis Tegeler.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday April 4th, 2024, at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home at Chapel Hill in Orlando, Florida.
Jose A Carrion-Aquino will be oiciating followed by a Masonic Memorial service Masonic Lodge #368.
Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery with full military honors.
