

Born on 12 June 1950 in Puerto Rico, Hector was the son of Ismael Pacheco and Ramonita Caraballo. He grew up in New York City and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
Hector was known for his loyalty, humor, and dedication to his family. He had a passion for woodworking, reading and loved a good cup of coffee. He cherished spending time with family and leaves behind a legacy of service to others.
Hector is survived by his wife of almost 50 years Yolanda Pacheco ( nee Jouvert), daughters Veronica and her husband Corey of Kentucky, Christina and her husband Haldane of Florida. Five grandchildren, Aiden Gillette, Eva Willie, Hailey Gillette, Lucas Willie and Asher Gillette. Brothers Ismael Pacheco Jr and his wife Carmen, Angel Pacheco and his wife Nancy, Samuel Pacheco and his wife Elizabeth. Sister Martha Diaz and her husband Joe. His sister in law Sarah Quiles and her husband Juan and his brother in law Efrain Jouvert and his wife Inez. He was blessed with nieces and nephews that he loved.
A visitation will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral home at Chapel Hill on July 21st 4pm-7pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on July 22nd at 2pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Orlando, Florida.
Hector will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew him, his memory will be a blessing and source of comfort.
