Pops was always known as a kind, yet stern voice. Ever since I’ve been a kid he has been looked to by friends and family alike for both comfort and guidance. His positive influence can be seen not just in our family, but in all the lives he has touched during his time here on Earth. He was always a generous soul and would help his brothers and sisters in need. He was also endlessly supportive, no matter the function, he was always there for his kids and grandkids, and I know the same is and was  true for his congregation. 

When stricken with loss, I try and look for the ways in which they have lived on in others, their legacy, and the positive impact left behind. With this in mind, I will never be short of ways to remember my papa, and I was lucky to have him as family.

To the Lowe Family, I am so sorry for the loss of Brother Lowe. I hope all you are doing well, I am sorry I was not able to attend the memorial.  Brother Lowe was the sweetest brother & always there for anyone who needed assistance.  He will be greatly missed. Take care of yourselves.   My thoughts & prayers are with you all. Jeannie it was a beautiful memorial for Steve. The video was a touching memory of the beautiful memories he made with you and a host of other family and friends. Larry and I are happy to have been among them. 
   Now may Jehovah comfort you in your darkest times. Never expect more of yourself than you can give right  now.  🌹I am reminded of the beautiful  story of Br. & Sr. Humer in the Feb. 2020 broadcast,. 
“ Grief is an arduous journey but one we cannot avoid, not a place where we live  but a passage of time. though it never goes away it does change with time.” 
Steven is in Jehovahs loving memory now and you have been the rock he needed all these years. 🌹

I was about 13 when Steve and Jean became a big influence on my life. We used to meet at their house for games and what now would be called family worship. We talked about everything there. Now I’m 63 and I also have memories of Steve when mom had her triple bypass in 2017. I was so nervous  but when I went in the waiting room there was Steve sitting with a sister who had no one to stay with her. He was such a comfort like the extended hand of God. I remembered that Gods in charge and Jehovah loved me enough to send Steve. He didn’t forget me.  Again this happened when Sam had a surgery. He was so loving and kind he reminds me that our Heavenly Father has that same spirit. I have so many good memories of both Steve and Jean. May Jehovah hold you Jean in his loving arms and comfort you. It won’t be too long he’ll be leading a work crew in paradise and picking on us again like at our conventions 😂

Sending love and sincere condolences to the Lowe family. I met Steve and Jean through the Eglin Reunions and always found him to be warm and friendly. 
Jean remember that many are praying that Jehovah continues to sustain you in this time of sadness. Isa 41:10,11 has always comforted me during difficult times.

I had the privilege of meeting Steve At Eglin Field in 1969. I found him to be a great person and a fine Elder.

Uncle Steve was a larger than life entity to me as a child; an adult that loved to laugh and make others laugh. He surely knew how to bring joy.

I wholeheartedly blame him for my love of fireworks after one of his summer visits to WV where he brought fireworks with him. I’d never seen any before and was in awe. … the ones he called “green umbrellas” were my absolute favorite! (My dad was not thrilled with fireworks being set off in the back yard and raining embers over rooftops, but who cares!!) 

When I was little and my mother had fallen on hard times, he and Jeannie took us into their home, supported us, and helped my mom to get her feet on the ground. My favorite memories from that time all include Steve, usually in the kitchen, smiling, and telling funny stories. He always wanted to lift everyone’s spirits; to cause someone to smile.

He seemed immortal to me.  A constant source of life and joy. 

I didn’t see him nearly enough as I should have after becoming an adult, but I’ll treasure the time I spent with him in 2019 and cherish the hugs and stories exchanged that day. - I will miss him deeply. 

I love you, Uncle Steve. Rest easy and on peace.

Today I had to say goodbye to my amazing Papa. 
He taught me the true meaning of perseverance and made me believe in real true love. 
Growing up, I thought my papa was indestructible. He had faced and overcame every adversity life threw his way, yet he was never bitter. Always loving and a true Papa Bear. 
No matter what, my Papa remained selfless. Him and my nana would drive hours sitting in the hot sun to watch me play softball. Even when he was in a wheelchair, he was there…
Papa, I’ll miss you forever and will always be your squirrel 🤍 rest peacefully

I was sad to hear Steve passed away.  The Lallement family have been 
friends with the Lowe family as long as I can remember.  My fondest memories of Steve were the football games in my teenage years after the hall on Sundays and at that time hoping my 17 yoa skinny body didn't have to block Steve or get caught by Steve running for my life with the football hoping I was just fast enough to make it to the goal line.   RIP Steve, we'll see you again.

Steve was a big part of my early adult life. He got me started in my electrical career and was a good friend and mentor in a spiritual way as well. 
When friends thank me for my assistance on various theocratic or personal projects, I tell them I owe my abilities to Jehovah and give recognition to Steve for helping me get started. I always appreciated his strong but mild spirit. He will be missed. 
My dear sister Jean, I can say it no better than Jehovah himself said it at Nu 6:26; 
May Jehovah lift up his face toward you and grant you peace
