She was born in Tampa Florida on January 27th, 1973 and spent most of her young life with her late mother, Elva Carreño, and grandmother, Teresa.
She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1991 and came to Orlando on Memorial Day Weekend of 1994. It was in Orlando where she met her husband, Bob Caraballo. The two were married on October 9th, 1999, after five years together.
Selfless and generous until the end, Karla poured all of herself into her home. There was nothing she loved more than her savior and her family: her husband, her daughter, Charis, and her “bonus” son, Robert. A better wife and mother does not exist. Even when it came to her smaller loves, such as cooking, baking, music, and unabashed political commentary, there was nobody better. To say she walked through life would be an understatement—she conquered it. She was full of strength, joy, excitement, and humor, and was unafraid to stick to her guns. She felt everything deeply and it is what defined her. Everyone who knew her admired her, and she will be dearly missed.
Karla is survived by her husband and her children, who will carry on her legacy until they are one day reunited in God’s eternal glory.
Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Orlando Baptist Church, 500 S Semoran Blvd, Orlando, FL 32807 with a time of fellowship and gathering to follow.
Mrs. Caraballo will be laid to rest at 3 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817.
