Patricia Mary Matteson

Patricia Mary Matteson, 76, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on April 12, 2022. Patricia was born in Newark, New Jersey on October 7, 1945 to parents, Frank Paul Carbo and Amelie Antonia (Basile) Carbo and lived there most of her life.

In 1974 she met and married Vernon Matteson, who was in the United States Navy, in Jacksonville, Florida. They traveled from Jacksonville, to Bermuda, Iceland, Chicago, Sicily and Charleston, SC until he retired and they relocated in Orlando, Florida in 1990.

Patricia was an active member at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church volunteering her time with Boxes for Troops, Rosary making and the Council of Catholic Women, plus many more ministries of the parish. She retired from Pepsi as an HR representative after doing bookkeeping and accountant for them. She was also very active in the ProLife March for Life and marched in Washington, DC even in the snow. Those who knew Patricia well, or even just met her knew she loved her faith, her family and her country.

Patricia is survived by her husband Vernon; daughter, Michelle Matteson, grandson, Justin King Jr. and brothers, Anthony and Frank Carbo. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Ed Carbo.

Funeral Mass will be Friday April 29 11:00 AM, Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 4545 Anderson Road

Orlando, FL 32812. Reception will follow in the Parish Center. Internment at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando.
