Robert Wayne Bachmann, 72, passed away on September 8, 2022. He was born in Gary, Indiana. His brother, Howard “Chip” Bachmann was the older brother by 7 years. Both were raised by his parents, Howard and Emma Bachmann.
He was united in marriage to Anna Ruis on September 20, 1986. After high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Bitburg, Germany. During his enlisted time he became Sgt. Bachmann. He worked on F15 fighter jets. After his service time, he attended UCF and received his Bachelor’s Degree. He then started working for the State of Florida working with juvenile delinquents. Then he went for training as a probation officer and started working in Orange County as a probation officer before he transferred over to the Casselberry office. He worked in Casselberry until he retired in 2013. His dedication and guidance helped so many people turn their life around and become good citizens.
Mr. Bachmann is survived by his wife of 35 years, Anna and many other family and friends to cherish his memory.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Chapel Hill Cemetery located at 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando, Florida 32817. The graveside service will include Military Funeral Honors to recognize his service to his country.
