Robert E Carrigan Jr.

Robert E. (Bob) Carrigan, Jr., longtime Orlando businessman and resident, passed away surrounded by members of his family on July 5, 2025. He was 95 years old. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Born in White Plains, New York January 13, 1930, Bob was the son of Robert E. “Pappy” and Louise English Carrigan of Winter Park. Upon moving to Florida in the early 1940’s they resided on Princeton Avenue in College Park. In the late 40’s they moved to Winter Park where they resided at “The Anchorage Estate” on Lake Maitland.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Sherri, his four children, Melanie Louise Carrigan, Kelley C. (Chuck) Przychocki, Catherine C. Braungart and Robert E. (Becky) Carrigan, III., his stepchildren, Susan Oltmanns Koozin of Houston, Texas, Brian Oltmanns of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jetta Romelle Bracco, Dana Romelle McFadden, Autumn Lynne McFadden, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.

Bob graduated from Orlando High School then attended The University of Virginia- BA(1950). Upon graduation, Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force (1950-1954), where he was a 1st Lieutenant Navigator/ Bombardier. He flew on the B-47 historic flight mission that successfully accomplished mid-air refueling from California to Japan in 1954. Upon leaving the Air Force, Bob returned to Winter Park to join his family’s Real Estate Business, Carrigan Realty. For over 65 years, Carrigan Realty, a family/veteran owned agency, has successfully served the Central Florida Community. Bob will be remembered as an avid Outdoorsman, Rancher and Cattleman, who loved hunting and fishing. On his family’s Circle “C” Ranch, Bob loved hosting many celebrations and events for family and friends over the years. His family has many fond memories of time spent at the Circle “C”.

The family requests any remembrances be sent to The Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida in lieu of flowers.
