She was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico on July 27, 1943. Sofia graduated from Riverhead High School.
Sofia had a career in Patient Care for Florida Hospital (East).
She is survived by her children, Rosaida Rios, and Reinaldo Rios; her grandchildren, Sofia Velez, Gracie Rios, Christopher Rios, and Jonathan Rios; her brothers and sisters, Carmelo Cajigas, Jerry Cajigas and Rosa Rood.
A graveside for Sofia will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817.
