

Terrence James Palmer, known affectionately as Terry, passed away on June 25, 2024, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 82. Born on November 20, 1941, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Terry was the cherished son of the late Reginald James Palmer and Margaret Sylvia.
Terry’s life was marked by his gentle demeanor and a profound appreciation for life’s simpler pleasures. After retiring, he dedicated his time to the community, volunteering with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department as a Citizens on Patrol. He also found joy in fishing, working in ceramics, and participating in family gatherings. His love for travel often found him exploring new destination with his family.
A proud resident of Orlando, Terry’s life was rich with various roles within the city and Orange County, contributing significantly to his community.
Terry was a beloved husband to Diane Esther Arlien for 56 years. He is survived by his sister; Margaret Lynn, his son; Jeffrey James, daughter-in-law; Annette, grandchildren; Westley Palmer (Tiffany) and Madeline Palmer, great-grandson; Jisaiah, sister-in-law; Pat Olsen, and nephews; Ron Olsen and Scott Olsen (Debi).
A memorial service to celebrate Terry’s life will be held at Reformation Lutheran Church, on Sunday July 14th at 1pm. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association, honoring Terry’s charitable spirit.
Terry’s legacy of kindness, dedication, and love for his family will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
