

Major William (Bill) Richard Muscatello, USAF Retired Maitland, FL – Major William “Bill” Richard Muscatello, USAF Retired, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in Liverpool, England, while on a tour of the UK with his daughter.
Bill was born on September 23, 1930, in Windber, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Joseph and Amelia (Maffeo) Muscatello. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Air Force, where he proudly served for 23 years before retiring at the rank of Major. After his service, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and later completed a master’s degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Following his military career, Bill dedicated 20 years to Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, FL.
Bill’s greatest joys in life were traveling, watching sports, and enjoying good food. After retirement, he and his beloved wife, Dora, explored the world together, returning with stories, treasures, and cherished memories to share with family and friends.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather who was always generous with his time, energy, and resources. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dora (Potter) Muscatello; his daughter, Linda Muscatello; and his brothers Anthony (“Dineo”), Frank (“Gunner”), John, and Michael. He is survived by his son, William Muscatello, and wife Marlene; his daughter, Valerie (Muscatello) Rennie, and husband Jon; his grandsons Zachary Rennie and wife Lindsey, and Jacob Rennie; his sisters JoAnn Sotosky, Mary Jane Semivan, and Millie Pierre; his stepson Max Madrid; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
