Alice Flores, 86, of Mission, KS passed away on October 16, 2014. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. October 22, at St. Pius X Church, 5500 Woodson, Mission, Ks; burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. Visitation is from 6 – 8 P.M. Tuesday at the church. Contributions may be made to the church on behalf of Alice Flores.
Alice was born July 17, 1928 in Olpe, Kansas. She was married to Tony Flores in 1953 for 49 years. Thru the course of her life, Alice was active in her church. She was involved in The Legion of Mary, Bereavement Group, Funeral Luncheons, Food Kitchen, & Eucharistic Ministry. Also, she was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Circle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, son, parents & 3 siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Lou Ann (Clay) Carpenter of Lenexa, KS, Sue (Rick) Schauf of Platte City, MO and Lisa (Craig) Schmidt of Waterbury, CT; sisters Angie and Frances Delatorre of Kansas City, MO and Liz Chavez of Topeka, KS. She also leaves seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
