Jesse Nielsen, age 31, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015. Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Wednesday, April 22nd at McGilley & Hoge Johnson County Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am on Thursday, April 23rd at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5500 Woodson Road, Mission, KS 66202. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.
Jesse was a loving person with a good heart who cared about others. He was a good friend and had a strong Christian faith. He was loved by many for his positive attitude and talent to make others laugh. All who knew him could see his specialness, love of life and appreciated his exceptionality.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Shawn Nielsen; grandfather, George D. Nielsen; grandfather, Paul Robinson; and his aunt, Melinda Robinson.
Survivors include his father, Scott Nielsen; his mother, Rebecca Nielsen (Robinson); his sister, Angela McLaury; his nephew, Shane McLaury; his grandmother, Janice Nielsen; his grandmother, Fran Robinson; his uncle and aunt, Dale & Cathy Nielsen; his uncle, Tim Robinson; and his uncle, Mike Robinson.
