Juliann Feiring, 79, Fairway, Kan., passed away July 2, 2013, at Sweet Life at Rosehill after a courageous battle with cancer. Julia was born March 20, 1934, in Humphreys, MO., as the youngest of five born to Roy and Gladys St. Clair. She received her B.A. degree in education from UMKC and taught elementary school for several years. She taught in area schools over 25 years, retiring from Washington High School in 1999. Mom was an avid fan of sports, especially golf and Jayhawk basketball. Mom was a great cook and her family was especially fond of her peanut butter fudge and cinnamon rolls. She also relished her role as a grandmother.
