Lowell was born in Preston, Missouri on May 12, 1939. He and Linda were married July 12, 1960 in Sedalia, Missouri. The love they shared was a joy for every friend and family member that knew them. Their love story is one-of-a-kind, one only movies are made of. Lowell and Linda enjoyed bowling, square-dancing and golfing with life-long friends.
Lowell spent his life building homes and remodeling, providing a wonderful home and life for his family. He was known as an extraordinary craftsman, who was able to make dreams come true for others.
Lowell was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Linda R. (Kreisel) Thomas; his mother and father, Golda and Russell Thomas; his sister, Donna Wisdom; and his brothers, Bert Thomas and Russell Thomas.
Lowell is survived by his son, Mark Thomas (Jen); his daughter, Tracy Lawver (Dave); five grandchildren, Lindsey, Lauren, Bailey, Kelsey and Kati; and four great grandchildren, Annalee, Christopher, Lily and Harper.
The heartbreak we feel is a testament to the love we felt for him. Lowell leaves with us beautiful memories of his kind and gentle soul. His legacy will live on through everyone that knew him.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.mcgilleyhoge.com for the Thomas family.
