

Mary Ann "Kate" Klusman passed away September 5th, 2015. She was born on December 3rd, 1921 in Lenexa, KS to August and Stefanie Baumgartner. She was a Devout Catholic and lifelong member of Holy Trinity Church in Lenexa, KS. It was at this church where she married Albert Klusman on July 16th, 1949. Kate's passions as a homemaker included gardening, canning, cooking, and caring for her children. Kate leaves us with her legendary pickle recipe. Having lived in the same house in Lenexa for 63 years, she always had an open door where all were welcome.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Albert Klusman and her son, Steve Klusman. She is survived by her sons, Robert Klusman, John Klusman; and daughter, Sandy Holthouse (Bill); granddaughters, Stefanie and Rebecca. We would like to give a special thanks to Erica and Beth of Crossroads Hospice of Lenexa for their compassion and care.
Visitation will be 6-7:30 pm with the Rosary Recitation at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, September 9th, 2015 at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am on Thursday, September 10th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 13615 W. 92nd Street, Lenexa, KS. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.
