Matthew Mulcahy, 56, Roeland Park, KS, passed away on September 5, 2010. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 9:00 AM, Saturday, September 11, at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will follow the service, from 9:30-10:30 AM at the chapel. Inurnment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers, donors may make contributions at a charity of choice. Matt was born December 5, 1953, in Kansas City, MO. He attended Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic school, and graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School. He was employed by the floor layer's union in the area. Matt enjoyed three hobbies: golf, fishing, and music. He had an extensive collection of 60's rock band music. He was preceded in death by his brother, Marty, and a sister, Mary Kathleen. Survivors include his mother, Rosemary Mulcahy; a sister: Mary Ellen Villanueva; two brothers: Michael and Terry; a niece, and five nephews.
