Nancy "Susie" Jones

Nancy Suzanne “Susie” Jones, 64, of Shawnee, KS passed away March 11, 2018 at her home. Her visitation will begin at 10:30am, funeral service at 11:00am, Friday, March 23, 2018 at McGilley & Hoge Chapel with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House.

Susie was born September 11, 1953 in KCMO to John and Elizabeth “Betty” Honan. In 1972, she married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Herbert Jones. They had two children, Jeromy and Rachelle, and spent nearly 45 years together before his passing in 2016. She was a loving wife and mother. Susie enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and helping her husband manage his business.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; 3 siblings, James Honan, Johnny Honan and Steven Honan. She is survived by her two children; 3 grandchildren, Tanner Jones, Cooper Jones and Daneka Jones and her sister, Sherry Crammond.

Mom, we will miss your heart of gold, but are happy you are once again with dad. We love and miss you.
