Nicole Louise Gomez-Walker, 24, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away December 29, 2021 at the Menorah Medical Center from metastatic cancer. Her visitation will begin at 12:30pm, followed by her memorial service at 1:30pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel. Nicole was born May 18th, 1997 in Ibiza, Spain. She grew up on an island in the Mediterranean and loved the beach. At the age of 13, she moved to the UK and attended Archway School in Stroud, UK. She moved to the US at the age of 16 and attended Shawnee Mission East. She then went on to attend Paul Mitchell The School in Overland Park for cosmetology. She worked in various beauty salons in the area doing hair, makeup and nail art. Her last place of employment was in the HR Department for the MW Company in Kansas City, Missouri. Nicole had several passions, particularly, animal rescues, photography and penguins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Francis Walker. Nicole is survived by her mother, Claire McDonald and stepfather, Joe McDonald; father, Jose Luis Gomez Martinez; brother, Alex Gomez Walker and his wife, Hannah Gomez; stepbrother, Trey McDonald; grandmother, Liz Walker; grandparents, Alfonso Gomez Navarro and Maria Martinez Ruiz; aunts and uncles, Brett, Mary, Clara and Alfonso and numerous cousins.
