Rose Marie Gibbons

Rose Marie Klinke was born on October 9, 1934 to Joe and Rose Klinke at St. Mary's Hospital in Kansas City, MO. From the moment Rose Marie was born, the little red haired blue eyed girl was loved and treasured and was the apple of her parents' eye. Rose Marie was an exceptional daughter. Rose and Joe Klinke were daily role models of love, kindness, compassion and generosity. Joe and Rose were wonderful Catholic role models. Rose Marie lived her Catholic faith every day in every way. Rose Marie attended Guardian Angels grade school. Loretto private Catholic all girls school and Kansas City Business College. Rose Marie then met and married Thomas B. Gibbons on October 4, 1958 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Rose Marie and Tom welcomed 4 daughters, 12 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Rose Marie was a brilliant woman and excelled at every job occupation she held. Rose and Tom were wonderful role models to their friends and most importantly their children. Rose Marie loved her family with her whole heart and she loved her Catholic faith. Rose Marie loved gardening, dogs and her Kansas City Royals. Rose Marie was a loving, devoted and caring daughter. Rose Marie was a wonderful, loving, honest and trusted wife to her husband Tom for 62 years until he died on October 31, 2020. Rose Marie was the mom that every girl wanted and the mom that every girl wanted to be. Our loss is heaven's gain. Never a day will pass that Tom and Rose Marie are not missed, loved, treasured and admired. Rose Marie and Tom were truly gifts from God.
