Sally Barancik

Sally Barancik, daughter of the late Thomas & Evelyn Patricia (Sheridan) Warren, was born on August 26, 1936 in Kansas City, MO and departed this life on December 28, 2018. She graduated at 16 from Lillis High School and later married the love of her life, the late, great, Bob Barancik. Sally spent most of her adult life in Roeland Park, KS where she was active in St. Agnes parish raising her family and giving back to the church. She was also a dedicated law office manager for many years.

Sally was preceded in death by her sister and best friend Diane Kane. She is survived by her brother (and hero) John (Uncle Mike) Warren, brother Tom, and her devoted and only sometimes difficult daughters Kathy Eisenreich (Bob), Karen Wheeler (Charlie) and Kristi Day (Paul). She leaves 8 beautiful grandchildren (all were “her favorite”) Kevin, Brent (Emily), Andrew, Matthew, Emily, Ryan, Sam and Henry. Sally also leaves a gigantic, loud and greatly loved bunch of cousins, nieces and nephews all of whom were dear to her.

Services will be Wednesday, January 2 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 W. 103rd Street, OP, KS. Rosary at 9:30 AM followed by visitation at 10:00 and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 (lunch to follow). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Catholic Charities.
