Wynne Sharon (Luskow) Hansen, 82, Prairie Village, KS, passed away surrounded by her family Tuesday, May 18, 2021. She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald E. Hansen; her sister, Mary Ann Brock; her son, Mark B. Hansen and wife Janice and granddaughters Laurel Brynn and Saffron Grace; her son, Shawn E. Hansen and wife Sienna. Mrs. Hansen was born in Minot, ND. She moved to Kansas City with her family and graduated from North Kansas City High. She attended and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in education. She taught at Santa Fe Trail Elementary School in the Shawnee Mission School District. She later was known to many from her years working at the Village Toy Store in Prairie Village. Mrs. Hansen was an early and longstanding member of Faith Lutheran Church of Prairie Village. She was a talented singer in the church choir. She was known for her passion for reading, puzzles, KU basketball, cooking, gardening, humming, and her love of Norwegian lefse. She will be missed by her many friends and relations. No formal services are planned at this time.
