Donna was born on June 16, 1939 in Danville, Illinois to Robert (Bob) and Lillian Bever.
Donna moved to Lehigh Acres, FL around 1965 where she met and married her husband of 52 years George James Lyons.
Donna and George have 2 daughters; Michelle R. Lyons and Paula R. (Lyons) Larkey. Together they raised their daughters in North Ft. Myers surrounded by family and friends.
Donna worked a few jobs in her lifetime. She ended her working career proudly at Ft. Myers Pest Control.
After Donna retired in 2004, she and George moved to the Orlando area to help raise their grandchildren; Lena G. Larkey and Logan G. Larkey.
Donna is survived by her faithful and loving husband George; daughter Michelle; daughter Paula and husband Landon; grandchildren Lena and Logan; Aunt Judy Sloan and husband Roy; cousins Jeff, John, Rusty, and Steve Sloan, Jim and Ken Bever, Randy Coffman and Jill (Coffman) Comer, Alan Fix and Ellen (Fix) Lewis; sister-in-law Delores (Lyons) Nicholson and husband Wayne; nephews Franklin Bates Jr. and Jeff Nicholson; nieces Lisa (Bates) Wyrick and husband John and Jill (Nicholson) Camp and husband “CB.”
