Steinmeyer, III Harry A., 78, of Oviedo, FL passed away peacefully on September 19, 2022 at his home, watched over by his wife, son, daughter, and son-in-law. He was born in Columbus, GA and attended Sanford High School. He dutifully served his country in the US Army during the Viet Nam war. Upon returning to the US, he pursued degrees in psychology at Florida Technological University (now UCF) and the University of Alabama. After living for a time in Tuscaloosa, AL and Udall, KS, he eventually returned to Central Florida in 1987, and opened a psychology practice. Known as “Doc Harry” to his patients, he skillfully and compassionately cared for his patients for over 35 years of practice.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Everlean Steinmeyer, and sister Barbara Anderson. He is survived by his wife Maureen Steinmeyer; son Harry Steinmeyer, IV and daughter-in-law Nawal Steinmeyer; daughter Alicia Baldwin and son-in-law Jon Baldwin; and grandchildren Harry Steinmeyer, V and Layla Steinmeyer.
