He attended Westminster Christian High School and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Carson-Newman University. Jack worked in the water treatment industry for over 28 years, owned a lawn business, and developed a lawn maintenance shop. Jack thoroughly enjoyed working on restoring houses, successfully renovating three homes which allowed him to demonstrate his building skills. He was an avid boat and car enthusiast and renovated several of both, which included a 35 foot sailboat and his beloved 1974 Porsche 914 that was named “Sunshine”.
The memories of Jack include: his kindness, contribution to coaching and serving as a Scout Master for Boy Scouts; in which he contributed to the life of many young men. Jack was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and citizen to his community. We bid farewell to a kind, generous, compassionate man who was deeply loved by all.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; son William and daughter Charlotte; mother, Marcia; sisters Gail and Beth; nephews Benjamin, Paul, Dean, Kyle and Jason and Kaylen.
Arrangements entrusted to Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oviedo Chapel. A family memorial will be held per Jack’s wishes.
