John Edward Holcomb

John Edward Holcomb Jr., age 91 of Oviedo, Florida passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021. He was born April 8, 1930 in Youngstown, Ohio to John and Lula Holcomb. The family later moved to Farmville ,Virginia in the early 1930’s. After military service,John moved to Brooklyn, NY where he met his wife Wyolene and started his family.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Wyolene ; son and daughter-in-law Darryl and Lorraine Holcomb, daughter and son-in law Michon and Vincent Siler, granddaughters Jenene and Jessica Holcomb, grandsons Jameel, Jaidon, Vincent Jr. and V'Andre Siler, great grandson Eli, brothers Fredrick and James Holcomb and a host of nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and cousins.

John was preceded in death by his parents John Sr. and Lula, his sister Sally Hendricks, and his brothers Bobby, Alfonso, Marvin, Thomas, and David.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 5-8 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oviedo Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held 11AM Monday, June 7, 2021 at the funeral home with a reception to follow. Entombment will be at All Faiths Memorial Park, Casselberry, Florida.
