A beautiful child with an infectious smile and discerning spirit, Josette would spend her youth learning lessons of empathy, grace, opportunity, love and triumph. Moving to New York in the 1970's Josette would meet Ernst Coutard.
They married January 26, 1976. They welcomed two children; Wilds-Mike and Cynthia. A devoted mother, Josette supported her children in all their endeavors and encouraged them to aim for the stars. She exemplified success and yearned for her children to attain the same.
Josette cultivated her career as a successful medical professional. As a general manager for a general surgeon's medical practice, Josette would revolutionize the way medical services were rendered, especially to those most in need.
An avid dancer, Josette loved ZUMBA and all forms of physical fitness. She loved sports and particularly Shaquille O'Neal, for what she believed was his resemblance to her son, WildsMike.
Traveling the world is when Josette sparkled. Joined by her soul-sister, Edith, the two traveled to nearly every continent, along the way, causing a mild stampede when Josette recognized a "disguised" Kobe Bryant in front of her during the World Cup.
Josette had a natural zest for life. She adored people from all walks of life and LOVED to entertain. The legendary basement parties in NY were joyful and a true family affair. Her culinary skills surpassed all expectations and will be missed greatly. She welcomed all into her home where you were treated like royalty. A true Queen, Josette, sat upon the highest throne in practicing as a devout Catholic. Josette's life took her all over the world, however, she called Florida, home. She enjoyed going to the hair salon (weekly), getting her spa treatments, cruises, theme parks, beaches and any event that included a DJ and photographer. Never passing up an opportunity to "pose."
Josette, is also known for her love of taking pictures and displaying other's photos in her home. It is through these photos that her life will be remembered and preserved.
A Queen.
A Superwoman.
