Matthew Taylor Jones passed away unexpectedly on April 19th, 2026. Our hearts are broken and we miss him so much. He was a beloved son to Michael and Gwen Haas and a big brother to Megan Jones. Matthew was also a nephew, grandson, cousin, godson and friend. He was also a devoted boyfriend of many years to his dear Isa Franco.
While we mourn his loss, Matthew leaves behind almost twenty-three years of love, laughter and joyful memories. Matthew was a graduate of The Master’s Academy and the University of Florida. He was a member of Willow Creek Church in Winter Springs and loved to serve his neighbors both in his community and on mission trips. He was a handsome and charismatic guy and to meet him was to love him.
A Christian worship service in celebration of Matthew’s life will be held at Willow Creek Church, PCA on Saturday, May 9th at 11:00 am. Come cry with us and share your stories of him. Together we can find peace and thank Jesus for Matthew’s life and for his salvation.
