Pauline A. Hanratty

She was born to the late William Horan and Pauline Caroline Sleights on May 27, 1932 in New York City, NY. Raised in New York City, after meeting and marrying the love of her life, Edward M. Hanratty Jr, they started their family and ultimately relocated to East Meadow, and then to Deer Park, Long Island, NY.

A few years after the death of her beloved husband in 1986, Pauline relocated to Florida and continued to live a wonderful, loving, and fulfilling life, always focusing on family whether they were near or far, and always giving to those she loved and who loved her.

Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Edward M. Hanratty, Jr, brothers William, Albert, Cecil, and sister Hilda.

Pauline is survived by her brother, Timothy G. Horan of Windham, ME and three children: Carol Kzenovitz (John) of Hilton Head Island, SC; Edward M. Hanratty, III (Colleen) of Oviedo, FL; and Doreen Hanratty of Oviedo, FL. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Jenifer DiBenedetto (Matthew) of Bluffton, SC; Melissa Garland (Shane) of Lebanon, PA; Caroline Myers (Jason) of Yarmouth, ME; Kristen Hanratty of Nashville, TN: Edward M. Hanratty, IV of Winter Park, FL; and Bridget Kansy (Timothy) of Orlando, FL. She is survived by her adoring four great grandsons: Benjamin Garland, Andrew DiBenedetto, Charlie and Jack Myers.

A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 575 Tuskawilla Rd., Winter Springs, FL In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org. or to a cause of your choice .
