Terry "Teruyo" Boggs

BOGGS, TERRY "TERUYO" age 90 of Sanford, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Born in the city of Nagasaki on the Island of Kyushu Japan on April 25, 1928, Terry was the only member of her immediate and extended family to survive World War 2. Terry moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 1954 with her husband of 52 years Ewell Walton "Buddy" Boggs (deceased). From there returning to Yokota, Japan for two more years she returned to the United States to become a Naturalized US Citizen. She continued to move multiple times with her military husband to locations throughout the United States finally settling in Orlando Florida in 1968. Terry was a gifted artist who worked her magic in free canvas paintings, ceramics, needle point and intricate cross stitch works of art. A culinary artist in the kitchen served her family sushi long before it was "cool" in the US. A beloved wife, mother and "mammaw", she is survived by her 4 children Patricia Boggs Groves, Edward W Boggs (wife Shari Boggs), Buddy B Boggs (wife Pati Boggs), Elwanda "Dee Dee" Albertson, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and her beloved dog Amy.
