Victor E McHardy

Victor Emmerson McHardy passed away peacefully on Monday, October 22, 2018, at his home in Oviedo, Florida. Victor was the son of the late Myrtis and Victor McHardy and a member of the Roosevelt High School Class of 1955. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Keith McHardy; his sisters, Doretha Merrick, Trella Cooper, Joan Mason; brother, Stephen McHardy.

After serving 34.7 years in the US Navy, he retired as a Command Master Chief. He then joined the Seminole County Sheriff Department as a deputy, retiring after 13 years.

He is survived by his wife, Olivia Mainor McHardy; his daughters, Regina, Crystal and Erin McHardy and granddaughter, Addernika Walker. He will be remembered by his sisters, Judith Deal, Lucina Pete, Jennifer (Art) Wright; sister-in-law, Patricia Johnson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at St. Alban’s Anglican Cathedral, 3348 W. State Rd. 426, Oviedo, FL; wake on Friday, November 2, 2018, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 501 E. Mitchell Hammock Rd., Oviedo, FL. Burial with full military honors, in West Palm Beach, FL on Monday, November 5, 2018, 12:00 p.m. at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens.
