Amra Robbins was born in Bangkok Thailand June 10,1943. In the early 1970’s, she lived in San Francisco and moved to Carmel Valley, CA in 1976 and lived there until her passing. She was a 1982 and 1989 graduate of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Culver City, CA. She married Army Colonel James Huey March 28, 1981 in the Chapel on the grounds of the Navy Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterey, CA. and is survived by him. Amra loved animals and had chickens, peacocks, a Koi pond and as many as six dogs (mostly rescues) at one time. She was a kind, generous and loving human being who was loved by anyone who was lucky to meet or know her. She had no children. She is missed and loved by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
