Edith (Edie) Quinn Forestelle

Edith (Edie) Quinn Forestelle 88, was born in Los Angeles, December 1923. Her family moved to Pebble Beach in 1938. She graduated from Pacific Grove High School and attended University of Pacific. She was a member of Children Home Society, Jr. League of the Monterey Peninsula, a member of St. Johns Episcopal Chapel in Monterey and did volunteer work for the Blind and Visual Impaired Center for 20 years. She was a talented artist and enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband covering the Orient, Europe and the Mediterranean. Married to the late Dr. Will H. Forestelle, MD, she is survived by her 3 sons, William and his wife Judi of Oxnard, John and his wife Linda of Bakersfield and Thomas and his wife Lori of Sun River, Oregon, five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Cremation is under the direction of The Paul Mortuary. Services will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Johns Episcopal Chapel. A reception will follow at The Park Lane from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to St. Johns Episcopal Chapel in Monterey or the Blind and Visually Impaired Center in Pacific Grove.
