Gregory Stephen McBride

Salinas ~ Gregory S. McBride, a native of Waterbury, Connecticut, passed away at his home. Greg attended the University of South Florida where he was a championship golfer. He was a custom golf club fitter and worked as a manager for Riley Golf for fifteen years. For the past thirteen years, Greg was a real estate broker with his own firm, Dream Home Finders Realty.

An avid golfer, Greg was a member of Bayonet-Blackhorse Golf Club, Del Monte Golf Club and Mission Hills Golf Club. He was also a member of the Monterey Bay Club where he won many championships, most recently in 2012. Greg loved competitive golf and won many other tournaments over the years. He also loved following his favorite sport teams, the Red Sox and the Celtics.

Greg is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Tina; his children, Stephanie Morgan McBride, age 24, and Kyle Stephen McBride, age 21; his parents, Clifford J. McBride of Connecticut and Barbara L. Morgan of Florida; his sisters, Janice Bogen of Florida and Karen Plomgren of Laguna Beach; his aunt, Maureen Sullivan of Connecticut and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his wife’s family including his mother-in-law, Grace Romano of Palm Desert, and his sisters-in-law, Enza Romano of Monterey County, Josephine Romano of LaQuinta and Rose Romano of Connecticut.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel this Monday, August 26 at 10:30 AM. Memorial contributions are suggested to Our Lady of Mt.
