

She was born in Fresno, California on July 16, 1924 to Roma and Mary Compton. She graduated from Pacific Grove High School in 1942. That same year, she married Ray Lugo in Pacific Grove. Bobbie and Ray were owners of Lugo’s Shell Station in Pacific Grove for 40 years. She was a homemaker and often assisted Ray at their business. She had a passion for knitting, reading and walking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, her parents, and her siblings, Theodore Compton, Dorothy Compton and Harold Compton.
She is survived by her four children, Richard Lugo (Chris) of Carmel, Kerry Lugo (Cheryl) of Salinas, David Lugo (Teresa) of Pacific Grove, and Kathy Hamaker of Greenbrae; eight grandchildren, Kemberlee Shortland, Richard Lugo II, David Lugo II, Raymond Lugo, Tracey Lugo, Kristina Roberts, Christopher Lugo and Lenny Hamaker; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be held for the family at the El Carmelo Cemetery in Pacific Grove.
