Marie V. Leary was a Peninsula resident since 1958. She died at Carmel Hills Care Center from natural causes.
Born in St. Louis, MO in 1923 she left there after retiring from government services to accompany her husband, a retired Lt. Colonel, to California where he continued working in a civilian capacity for 17 more years of government services.
She will be buried next to her husband, retired Lt. Colonel W.A. Leary at the Presidio of San Francisco Cemetery in San Francisco, California.
