Mary B. Silva, a native of Praia Victoria, Terceira, The Azores, passed away at Community Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joe Silva; her children, Tina (Eddie) Tavares of Salinas, Sally (Bill) Morris of Pacific Grove and Bob Silva of Pacific Grove; her grandchildren, Michael (Jen), Steve (Claudia), Jason, Kevin (Tina), Melissa and Kristina and her great-grandchildren, Colin, Gavin, Anthony, Sofia, Avery, Mateo and Augustine Tavares. Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Manuel and Alvarino Borges and her great-granddaughter, Jameson. Visitation will take place at The Paul Mortuary Chapel this Tuesday, March 1 beginning at 4:00 PM with recitation of the rosary at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Angela Merici Church on Wednesday, March 2 at 10:00 followed by entombment at San Carlos Cemetery in Monterey.
