Melvin J. Milburn, a native of Beaumont, Texas, passed away at his home on September 21 surrounded by his family. He has lived locally for the past five years. Melvin worked in the transportation industry for over twenty years.
Melvin is remembered as a true jack-of-all-trades who also loved to travel. However, he most enjoyed spending time with his family.
Melvin is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary; his sons, SSGT Joseph G. (Lyndsey) of RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom and Frank J. (Catherine) of Ft. Worth, Texas; his mother, Ethel T. Milburn of Marina and his sister, Shelia Liedy of Beaumont, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank, earlier this year.
A graveside service will take place at San Carlos Cemetery in Monterey, California this Friday, September 28 at 11:00 AM.
