Rebecca Jurado

Rebecca, known as Momma Becky, was born in Gallup, New Mexico to Mary and Dennis Grijalva. Raised in Sunnyvale, California, she graduated from Fremont High School in Sunnyvale. Following her marriage to the love of her life, Richard Jurado, they moved to Mt. View where they raised their family.

Rebecca loved watching sports, especially the Oakland A’s and her beloved San Francisco 49ers. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events and horse shows.

She and her husband enjoyed going to their local bars where her go-to cocktail was the screwball aka screwdriver. A long-time member of the Eagles in Mountain View, Rebecca was generous and loving to all she met, chatting with everyone.

Family was very important to Rebecca. Her children remember that they grew up attending lots of family gatherings with their aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rebecca is survived by her children, Victor, Madelena and Manuel; her grandchildren whom she adored, Megan and her husband, David Henriques, and Michael; her sister, Veronica Grijalva Lewis; eight nephews, three nieces, six great-nephews and one great-niece. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Richard, and her siblings, Dennis, Rosemary, Virginia, Martin and Henry.
