Timmothy Benjamin Gleason, lovingly known as Timmy, passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 31. Born and raised in Monterey, California, Timmy later moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon, where he devoted himself to caring for his ailing father — a reflection of the deep love and loyalty he carried for his family.
Timmy was a son, a brother, a father, and a friend — but most of all, he was love in motion. He is survived by his beloved daughter Caitlin, his father John Gleason, his siblings Frankie Alonzo, Tami, and Evelyn, and his sister-in-law Jacquie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nannette Martinson, whose memory he held close to his heart.
Timmy’s life wasn’t measured by accolades or achievements, but by the depth of his love — especially for his daughter, who was his world. He brought joy and laughter wherever he went, with a spirit that was kind, funny, adventurous, clumsy, headstrong, and brave.
He was someone who always stood up for what he believed in, no matter the cost. Timmy never judged anyone — he treated everyone with the same respect and kindness, no matter who they were or where they came from. His heart was open, his mind was strong, and his loyalty never wavered.
His passions were uniquely his own — writing rap music, watching anime, playing video games with Caitlin, reminiscing over old war documentaries with his dad, and just hanging out and partying with his family, who meant everything to him. In his younger years, Timmy loved jamming on the drums with his older brother Frankie, and together they proudly formed their very first band — a bond built through music that stayed with them for life.
Timmy lived sincerely and loved steadfastly. He will be remembered for his big heart, his unforgettable laugh, his fearless honesty, and the way he made people feel safe and accepted just by being himself.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Timmy’s life on Friday, September 5th at 1:00 PM at The Paul Mortuary, 390 Lighthouse Ave., Pacific Grove, California. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.
In honoring Timmy’s memory, may we continue to love as he did — fiercely, freely, and with all our hearts.
