Alan Fred Rosenkranz

Alan Fred Rosenkranz, 70, of Singer Island, Florida passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013, after battling renal cell carcinoma for 11 years. A fighter until the end, he loved life and fiercely loved his family. You rarely saw him without a backwards Jets hat, a stylish sweater wrapped around his shoulders, his shades and his cell phone. He never came over empty-handed and was generous to a fault. He would talk to anyone and everyone about anything and made friends wherever he went. He loved his Dunkin Donuts coffee, red Tootsie Roll lollypops, dancing, running, reading, traveling, the movies, concerts, restaurants and rock and roll. He was a trivia fanatic and could tell you the history of just about anything. He loved all things New York: the City, the Times, Tal’s Bagels, Broadway Shows, museums, all sports teams, especially the NY Jets. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rose, who was the light and love of his entire life, his daughter, Michelle Suskauer (Scott) of Palm Beach Gardens, his son Howard Rosenkranz (Laura) of Palm Beach Gardens, his five adoring grandchildren: Talia and Rebecca Suskauer, Samuel, Alexander and Ryan Rosenkranz. Alan’s brothers: Norman Rosenkrantz (Simone), Jerry Rosenkranz (Sheila), Jay Rosenkranz (Linda), his sister-in-law Sherry Hyman (Michael), and all his nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.
