Betty Levine Steinberg of Palm Beach sadly left us January 30, 2024 at the age of 101. She was the loving mother to her son Steven Levine and his wife Susan, her daughter Andrea Levine O’Rourke and husband George, Grandmother to Melissa Staskowski, Craig Levine and his wife Jennifer, Michael Levine (d), Great Grandmother to Dylan Staskowski, Cole Levine, Benjamin Levine, Max Levine and Rebecca Levine.
Betty was born in Philadelphia on September 8, 1922 to Molly and Sam Ross. After graduation from high school she married her sweetheart David Levine, also of Philadelphia. She focused her attention on raising her children. In 1957, the family moved to Boston Mass. Her life adventure continued with a permanent move to Florida in 1970.
With an entrepreneurial spirit, innate business acumen and an artistic flair she opened an Interior Design Company, Betty Levine and Associates. This led to Betty becoming a first generation, self-taught, award winning and published interior designer and business woman. She was highly respected and considered a Grande Dame in her industry for her iconic work.
After 58 years of marriage she suffered the loss of her husband David. Betty was blessed to find love again with Dr. Myron Steinberg of New York City and Palm Beach. They had a beautiful life of companionship, family and travel.
Having lived a long and fulfilling life Betty passed peacefully surrounded by her family.
A private service will be held for family members to honor her life.
